I am seeing some very good, maybe exceptional % gains and some buyout offers too for several of the stocks I've recently mentioned here that I had bought. As is my practice, no reason to bring them up now: y'all are either in such stocks and see what's happening with those stocks, or else you aren't in. In that latter case, I don't see the point in bringing it/them up now after the fact.

I do like starting off with small positions in stocks that attract me. I try to figure at purchase if my intent is to add more shares if stock falls; or if I am going to add more shares or not as stock rises.

Sometimes this works. OTOH, just to provide some balance: I still own HSY, PZZA, GIS, CE, CAL, OLN and many more -- all at "respectable" losses.
