What a day!

Silver Storm, my largest holding among junior miners - recently having moved to the no. one spot from Blackrock Silver (by a large amout) - closed up 19.5 percent. Blackrock, now my second largest holding in this sector, closed up 5.9 percent. Others were up too, giving my portfolio a boost today of 9.9 percent.

While such gains are somewhat rare, I've had, I think, three similar +/-2 digit days since Spring. ...feels like late 1979.

Even so, I am surprised to see silver today outpace gold 9.6 to 1, as of a quarter hour after the Wall Street close with 45 minutes left in the PM trading day. I am yet to see an explanation as to why this spread was so large. I'll be back with a followup when the PM market closes.
