Ther are also open standards AMD is proposing vs. proprietary NVDA: NVLink, NVSwitch for Scale Up Infiniband for Scale Out China is particularly pissed about NVLink. One of their "investigations" into NVidia were about NVLink. AMD has set up bodies for open standards in networking. Ultra Ethernet already "won", I believe, UALink lagging a little. We will see which one (or both) China adopts.
