I've found that many times (unless a person holds concentrated positions in crappy stocks) the best decision is to close the laptop or shut off the computer. "Ignorance is bliss" is a great approach to removing emotion from the market. That's not to say a person should ignore a festering problem. I have several mag 7 stocks as my core - I'm not going to let the day to day news cycle spook me. I'm getting preachy with guys that already know this so I'll stop
