Fed Cuts Key Rate, Signals Just One More In 2026; S&P 500 Rises finance.yahoo.com Just one cut next year? I don't think the market wanted to hear that, but the broader markets are up slightly on the news (with the exception of the Russell, which is up .88 percent at this writing). Let's see how the markets do after digesting the news over the next hours and days. Meanwhile, gold and silver have moved off their lows an into green territory.
