Android 16 has a new "Artificial Intelligence" usage option under "Settings". For Snapdragon based phones it measures NPU usage. I've had Android 16 running for a week or so now and my usage here is zero. It's only applicable to the use of on-device AI models of which I have none. I do have lots of apps though which I use daily. Apple's App Store isn't dead yet. AI Apps have yet to get beyond the pioneers and most of those I expect are developers still with alpha/beta product.
