It should be obvious why. Trump is still sucking PooTin's little Rasputin, but he feels he can bully Maduro into submission.

And for what? What exactly do we gain by overthrowing Maduro and taking Venezuela for ourselves?

Free gas? We already tried that in 2003. Gas still isn't free.
