wishy washy answer, nothing said in definitive terms, uses automakers as plural...I don't buy it was waiting for black, i believe it is ceo talk and he thinks it sounds good because some automakers told them they like the black or told the company who makes the roofs more likely, but of course they will say that, they just say nice things always....Black for a car roof i feel not that important as many use blue over black...I think car was delayed or didnt happen for not that reason but I believe spd cars coming as it is the best product and smartglass growing in cars...
Joe was pressed for a specific answer so he will come up with something, not the best excuse to use even if some makers expressed interest in black (again they will say whatever to be nice anyway)...Joe probably thought it sounded good, blue is fine as blue often chosen over black....he said " he suspects" in above quote, that means he is saying he doesnt know it for a fact and it is guess and related to "automakers" not the specific model that was asked about and you posted about.
You may interpret his words differently of course, that happens. |
