I wouldn't make a decision based on opposition propaganda. I'm not sure if that is why you're considering selling SYY. The company has been through union negotiations many, many times before.

In my portfolio, SYY is just an extremely boring stock that I bought in two tranches: 2009 and much later in 2020, both times when it was crushed by the market and the dividend and discount were too good to ignore. The purpose is simply dividends at a discount. If you bought it for price appreciation, my recommendation is to sell. It's traded virtually sideways since 2018. Are there any catalysts to move the needle? It's such a mature business.
