Florida gets these large Palmate bugs (Roaches)........

I mostly grew up in Florida and still have a home there. I hate those big Pametto bugs. I trapped and relocated 11 community cats (kittens) - had the parents neutered, last trip down. I've seen references to Florida being the U.S's Australia in terms of bugs, critters, beaches and wackiness. My yard has gopher turtles, wild parakeets, owls and a resident black snake. Once I woke up and our pool was covered with frogs that had hatched, ha. Last flight down I picked up a book in the airport, Gator Country about the alligator trade in the Everglades. It was a good read and great insight into diversity and conservation issues of Florida.
