No way they're going to get a pre-trial settlement. In the context of the Qualcomm v. Arm lawsuit, one of the things Qualcomm is asking for equitable relief. This essentially asks for a non-monetary court order intended to ensure fairness and force Arm to fulfill its obligations or stop harmful actions. While the first trial confirmed that Qualcomm has a valid license, that verdict was a mostly defensive victory. It stopped Arm from canceling the license, It did not necessarily force Arm to stop its retaliatory behavior or compensate Qualcomm for the business damage caused during the fight.

In the current case Qualcomm is asking for the court to enjoin Arm from terminating the Qualcomm ALA based on the October 2024 "Breach Letter". And enjoining Arm from making misleading statements to Qualcomm's customers or interfering with their business relationships. They're also asking for a Declaratory Judgment. Qualcomm wants the court to legally declare that it is not in breach of its agreements and that Arm has no right to terminate the licenses.

An out of court settlement doesn't do anything for Qualcomm because Arm is already allegedly violating the TLA/ALA and apparently refusing to negotiate the V10 ALA in good faith. Whatever their agreement would be no better than the toilet paper I flush.
