Have you ever been involved in making complex deals come together?

In the same way that Trump is in bringing peace to the ME, which is an even tougher problem, there is a process. I'm pretty sure Trump has never entered into negotiations with an attitude that "this can't be done." He's optimistic, he sees potentials you can't see (few of us can). And he realizes that complex deals are difficult to get done. A ton of nuance is required among the parties.

One of his great skills is to recognize when an agreement is "not ready" and he has recognized that with Putin and Zelenski, the deal simply isn't ready, it needs to cook longer. So, he works on the next deal (bigger) instead as it appears to be coming together at this time.
