I don't know why this is so hard for you to understand - but I guess for political reasons it is easier to just stick your head in the sand.

Because of Covid the economy was about to collapse! The government stimulated - the first two rounds of stimulus was during trumps term. So of course much of the stimulus that caused the following inflation was created by trump. But that stimulus had a purpose and wasn't necessarily bad.

It is such a dishonest argument to place the blame on Biden when what he was doing was trying to prevent a complete collapse of the worlds economy. We owe him and the government at that time a huge thank you! We should also thank trump for the first couple of rounds of stimulus. ........But today, we needed no stimulus (caused by the BBB) and the resulting inflation had zero purpose to influence the economy. It was just wrong headed and dumb. Wrong headed and dumb and the people who should know this better than anyone else are Conservatives. But today's conservatives are such a spineless group of brown nosing sycophants that we are really screwed. Like in Hoover screwed!
