Broadcom is a little bit on defensive last couple of days, since they play only a small(ish) role in the ASICs for the hyperscaler customers and can be designed out of the process. Maybe Lisa had a good foresight to not get into these ASICs - but LBT does want to get into the ASICs. Maybe Intel is more desperate, and Intel has foundry to offer (unlike Broadcom)
