Abuelita, a Canadian, posted a good video on a woman talking about how Trump may use the "Monroe Doctrine" to invade Canda's territory, and I told her she hits a very big nail not quite on the head (Thomas Wolf about Marshall Mcluhan) i.e. he may use it, but there are safe guards, and this was my response.
The Three powers are China, Russia and the BRICS, the US more or less alone, Argentina, AND Europe with Japan, South Korea and Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
But I get where she is going with her commentary, but she does not see, or maybe speaks to, the mitigating factors, e.g. of the Democrats in congress, and Canada helping Europe et al to strengthen their ability to defend against China and the US.
Money is power, and the west, Europe, is suffering big time for lack of affordable energy, which is why Carney is building new pipelines to the east and west to serve Asia and Europe, who need it desperately to even survive economically and be able to defend against China and the US; and why the western nations are fleeing to Canada e.g. Microsoft for AI.
And this is also why I am a big fan of Carney. He understands the world economic situation very well, and knows what to do, i.e. putting together a coalition to defend against China and the US, AND that means supplying Europe and Asia with energy and natural resources.
Europe, Japan and South Korea are struggling due to not having Russian oil and gas, and certain minerals.
And the liberals who think Carney is selling out regarding green energy are really missing the big picture which is the west is fighting for its life, as she points out.

And the good news is that the Democrats will probably win both houses of congress next year and they will rescind all of Trump's Monroe doctrine insanity.
And the west, including Canada is working hard on global warming, but they need affordable energy in the meantime.
