That's less relevant than he thinks. It's going to be a lawyering contest. Bluesky will be in for legal bills they don't need to incur, and the current xitter owners have more than enough resources to defend the suit. It's only a matter of time before "x" is a toxic brand, and it will be associated with "Twitter" for a long time to come. BSKY, IMO, is better off growing their own brand, and let the bird die on its own.

FWIW, twitter.com is still live. It does redirect to the new name, but that could be an argument against abandonment. I know even less about trademark law than patent law. It seems to be even murkier.
