Cepton also had a Lidar deal with GM back in 2022.

Rivian has yet to settle upon a supplier for lidar in their upcoming R2 models, available in late 2026. Gemini says Rivian is building AI and lidar chipsets for this product in-house.

Trying out product (Ouster or otherwise) doesn't necessarily mean it will or will not be found in future product.
