I noticed you're happy with words. GG and most people automatically say no. I should have directed that post to GG to avoid confusion.

The point of citizenship is that it has a market value convertible to money with its sale. You could buy half a dozen Somali citizenships ... Low quality countries like that wouldn't be be worth much at all.

No need for complex mechanisms. Put your citizenship on the online auction block. Sold to the highest bidder. Cash moved to your account. You go shopping for cars or whatever. Your name gets removed from the citizenship list. No more dividends for you.

It's interesting how people can figure out how to buy tomatoes, or even a house, shares in a stock market. But they're baffled by buying a membership of a country.
