A quarter trillion to date. But the process isn't over, and it will be a couple years or more before it plays out. The money is listed only when the savings process is complete. There are existing items that are substantial and will be productive at some point; we don't know how productive. So, it may not be much. Or it could be a lot. We don't know.

What we do know is as of now it is about 1/4 trillion.


This is not a difficult concept to understand. Savings occur when savings are accrued. Sometimes it takes a very long time for the accrual process to be completed due to existing contracts that have to be cancelled under specific terms designed to make them hard to cancel.
