Like Hitler, he can't stop. Their economy will collapse when the war stops. Like Nazi Germany, Russia is broke. And the economy revolves around fighting the war. Transitioning from a war time economy is painful even with a robust and functional economy. Just look at the US after WWII. That is something Russia doesn't have.

If Putin doesn't have an "accident" with an open window before midsummer i would be shocked. And they will need a massive influx of cash to stabilize. Which would only accelerate their vassalization by China.
