It hasn't been difficult to purchase shares in SpaceX for years already, as well as many other large private startups that haven't yet had an IPO on public markets.

Are you really that ignorant about the process of private companies having trade in their shares before an IPO on exchanges you recognize as a retail buyer?

How deliciously clownish of you to note, your "broker" should match you with a few share of what would be the largest $notional IPO ever. hahaha!
