It is estimated that his fortune is between $3.7-3.9b. His sister Penny, who was Secretary of Commerce under Obama, has a similar amount. There are another 8 or 9 cousins who have net worths of over several billion dollars, although I don't think any of them are as political as JB and Penny. Money wouldn't be a problem if he runs for president. And I am sure that there are people other than the Pritzker family and other billionaires who would contribute to his candidacy. Remember--both of the Roosevelts came from a wealthy family and both were considered "traitors" by other wealthy people. IMHO, Pritzker would make a fine president. Whether he is electable is a different question. Only party due to his wealth (funny how that was a positive for Trump but a negative for JB) but also because he is Jewish.
