Nvidia Reportedly Seeing High Demand From China For H200 AI Chips

Nvidia ( NVDA) reportedly is seeing strong interest in the artificial intelligence chip giant's H200 AI processors from customers in China after President Donald Trump last week moved to ease trade restrictions. Nvidia stock rose Monday.

Nvidia is considering adding production capacity for H200 chips as orders are exceeding current output levels, Reuters reported. Chinese internet companies such as Alibaba ( BABA) and TikTok parent ByteDance have expressed interest in buying the chips, the report said. Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing ( TSM) produces the chips for Nvidia.
