For what it's worth: Advanced Micro Devices Inc. announced the appointment of Emily Ellis as Corporate Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer, effective December 15, 2025. Ellis, 43, previously served as Vice President Controller at Palo Alto Networks Inc. since March 2024. Before that role, she worked as a Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP from July 2019 to March 2024. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from San Jose State University and is a certified public accountant. The appointment was approved by AMD's Board of Directors on December 12, 2025. Ellis will serve as the company's principal accounting officer in her new role. Jean Hu will step down from her position as interim Chief Accounting Officer following Ellis' appointment. Hu will continue in her role as AMD's Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer.
