Trump has directly threatened Canada, AND he and the Russians and Chinese are looking to invade Canada's territory in the arctic.

Carney knows job one is making Canada strong, and that means making money, lots of it.

Carney sees all of this, and has done a suburb job of forming protective alliances like the "Nordic alliance", and the European SAFE coalition, and making both trade and defense deals around the world, trading Canada's resources power, and a fair and stable government for allied protection!

Canada has more foreign investment per GDP than any other G-20 nation.

And dropping the order for about 60 F-35's to start manufacturing Gripen fighter jets with Sweden was brilliant.

The five Nordic countries have brought Canada into the fold as family, and so has Europe.

Trump is leading us into WWIII with China and Russia, and Canada and Europe are on their own!!

AI Overview

Yes, Canada recently joined the European Union's (EU)
Security Action for Europe (SAFE) initiative, becoming the first non-EU country to participate in the €150 billion ($170B) defense procurement fund, allowing Canadian firms access to EU defense markets and loans for equipment. This move, formalized in early December 2025, aims to deepen defense ties, boost European defense industry, and help Canada diversify its military procurement away from the U.S., noted by Prime Minister Mark Carney and EU officials.
