I guess I didn't learn. I actually wanted to go to a Catholic high school. My father asked me if I wanted the Brothers to beat me even worse than the nuns. That convinced me, even though it was the high tuition that he wanted to avoid. Your story confirms his predictions. Went to a public school and never looked back. It was a much better preparation for college admissions.
