I don't think this is a good place to have that discussion.

There is somewhat of an analogy that can be made with the way ocean waves carry energy without needing to appreciably move the particles the wave energy uses to transport itself.

Maybe schlongzed will change my mind by making an insightful comment on his understanding of wave/particle duality.
