not sure if the thread is following, but Apple seems to have taken an agressive stance towrds user interface changes and everyone is complaining ALOT. IOS 26.1 and later.

so many issues and changes that they made without so much as a consideration for things like useability, taking things which are 1-2 clicks and making it 5-6 clicks if at all, removing functions on simple things, making so many new changes people cannot find the actual functions they use every day.

not only did they screw up their AI offering, now they are screwing up the thing that made them popular, the simplicty of the user interface.

It is way beyond me why UI programmers feel teh need to take perfectly good menus and items and move them all over.

Maybe it is the 20 something revenge to the boomers. who knows.

It is really crappy right now.

Oh, and battery life went down by ALOT. I used to use my phone until late afternoon wihtout recharging. Now I am lucky doing basically the same thing to get to 11 oclock.

maybe Tim doesn't care, but he may loose the golden goose.
