Her dad had been a patient of Dr. Kellogg at his mental hospital. When he died she took over the company (which was unheard of back then) and turned it into an empire Just some amazing stories in American history. If you've never seen the 8 part series "The Men who built America" you have to watch it! I would have been a 4.0 student had classes been presented in the way that show was - it's fascinating
