No one at the time portrayed it as a "in your wildest dreams" sort of answer.
I have done searches of two different AIs. One, found referred to October 27, 2024 (at MSG) and claimed there were others but when pressed for detail it couldn't find any other actual mentions as a target.

The other mentioned Jan 25, 25 in addition, in a livestream with Mark Penn, Musk "reaffirmed the $2T as an "aspirational target", saying, "I think we'll try for $2T. I think that would be the best possible case outcome." He also stated that "aiming for $2T would give them a "good shot" at achieving $1 Trillion".

I find no other documented mentions.

So, he fell short. It is a hell of a lot more than anyone else has done. And in your leftist-hate style, you find fault in accomplishment more than anyone else.


To the extent it was a failure it speaks to the disaster our government is after years in the fiscal hands of that dirtbag Nancy Pelosi.
