Instead of sending a check lets truly show them we care by honoring our obligations to them. That means hassle free healthcare, disability as needed, housing as needed etc etc. We send our youth over to fight wars (some questionable) and when they return all messed up our govt. turns its back. $1750.00 checks aren't going to address the problem.
