According to German media ... Ukraine claims to have destroyed expensive Russian air defense Ukraine says it has attacked several Russian air defense and radar systems on the Russian-occupied Crimean peninsula. As the Ukrainian secret service SBU announced on Thursday, a commando with long-range drones attacked targets around the Belbek military airfield. According to the report, two long-range radar detection systems of the Nebo-SVU type, a 92N6 radar as part of the S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile system, a Pantsir-S2 anti-aircraft missile system and MiG-31 fighter jets with ammunition were affected. The SBU estimates the value of the attacked systems at several hundred million US dollars. To substantiate its claims, the secret service published pictures of the aforementioned targets, on which, however, the systems can still be seen intact. The SBU explained that the drones used exploded on impact, which is why destruction is possible despite the outwardly undamaged image.
