I just listened to an interview with an insurance expert opining that it may no longer be possible to get overland water insurance in the twice-deluged areas of Abbotsford. Given that is where much of BC's domestic food supply is grown, this is a grim prospect. Will the BC government have to step in and provide the necessary insurance?

And the forecast for the storm that just arrived has been updated, to 50-80mm of rain and winds up to 100 kph. The Coquihalla is expected to receive as much as a half meter of snow.
