Short positions on warrants....

Likely shorting against the box. Locking in profits at the highs and then providing their warrants to cover the position.

The benefit?? Rather than having to individually go through the registration process holders are dumping the responsibility onto the brokerages. Passing the buck... hot potato... finding a bagholder..

All the same thing, but nonetheless an interesting strategy that I will file away in my Investor's strategy guide.
