geeperz. these modern young central bankers need a required course 101 in market and economic history starting say with the year 1913. Wall streeters should take the same course. 4 semesters long and in sequence. And that would be opposed to economic theory? why you might say? because economic and market history are the facts of the entire matter, the results of bad theory and little good theory. This is sir, what you get, when you drink the kool-aid, and this is what you get when you don't fuck with what works all on it's own, von Mises.
