I have one account I manage for someone, about 40 years old, whose NVDA holding was up +800% and represented more than 50% of his portfolio value. We discussed it and decided I would trim and spread the proceeds over several companies.

I opened new holdings in AVGO, MRVL, PANW and PLTR.

That brought his NVDA holding down to where it now represents 14% of his portfolio value, and I am going to leave it alone.

This portfolio is a growth portfolio! It only has a 0.52% yield and 9.1% dividend growth. Portfolio Beta is 1.30. So, as you can see, I'm looking for growth.

According to Fidelity: YTD

S&P 500® Index
+15.00%

I think the only reason the numbers are as close as they are is because the Index is so heavily exposed to tech as well.
