The most important thing we humans have to do NOW is figure out how to control AI and all that it involves. Our very survival depends on it. The CO2 issue is the least of our problems with regard to AI. AI will be smarter than us in short order. Geoffrey Hinton one of the god fathers of AI said we need to teach them empathy---so they don't kill us I suppose-lol! Japan it is reported now has robots that can learn to do tasks, like manufacturing, on their own. A person said:" the problem with humans is that they have paleolithic emotions, medieval laws, and norms and mores (my addition) , and god like technologies-lol!
