That's a stupid straw man combined with an old Gene Roddenberry pipe dream.

The context of Musk's argument was Michael Dell's contributions to the so-called "Trump Accounts," whose timeframe is obviously over the next 2-3 generations. That means approx. 50-60 years.

There is no way that we will get to a post-scarcity utopia in such a short timeframe. If you want proof, look to the past 50-60 years and see how much we have progressed toward such a fantastic scenario.

Severe poverty still exists across much of the world, and the developed world seems much less willing to "share the spoils" of human progress than ever before. Cause you know, that's too "woke."
