A real downer downer for Christmas for all the folks affected by the rainstorms. I can't imagine. This day and age I'm not sure if a small ski hill can survive missing a season. Some of the Interior BC hills haven't opened yet and several are open with marginal conditions. Base areas are taking a hit. Different story in Alberta-snow keeps coming for Sunshine, Lake Louise, even dry old Norquay is getting fresh daily. Frigid in my neck of the woods, got too raw for me to xc ski past couple days. Rare.
