This estate auction was a huge sale.

Prices stayed strong all the way thru.

It is very easy to make a $100.00 mistake or more.

Item # 463 was 1965 396 Big Block. It was a first and only year that Corvettes had that 425 hp engine. It had a casting # that ends in 462, if it came from a Corvettes

But the number ended in 461.

It was 2 bolt main low horse power 396 (I never heard of it before - maybe a truck block).

It had a timing cover, oil pan, and block with rods and pistons. It sold for $840.00.

The buyer's gonna find out he bought a boat anchor.

I saw a guy pay 45 dollars for a Rally wheel center cap. I can buy them new for the same price from Zip. More cheap knock off stuff from China. These were a copy of a 70 model Rally wheel center cap. If original they'd pull 70 to 90 a piece.

Those auctioneers go fast and it is all important to pay attention.

I got a 1945 to 1950 ish adjustable oil change container on wheels. It had a Stewart Warner id tag on it.

It needs paint. I'll media blast it and paint it red with a black base and put a Texaco decal on it from a reproduction gas pump source. Put some chrome bolts and nuts on it, and probably never get oil on it.

Male jewelry for my shop. LOL

I met a few folks I knew.

While talking to one, he said exactly what I was thinking. "When I die, this is what others will be doing to my stuff".

I told the auctioneer he should charge $5.00 to every guy who drags his wife thru the piles of "Stuff". After seeing this guy's massive holdings - It makes me look like a saint! LMAO
