Well, I don't use the term "lie" as often as some others, but let's just say it would be a mistake to think there was ever a time that I thought EVs were a bad idea. Once Musk was able to give the concept traction, I was totally onboard and still am. I didn't much care about it at first because so many car makers have come and gone. I think it was 2016 before I paid a lot of attention and started to feel as though Tesla might be doing something significant. In my adult life I think I have bought around 25 cars, and all were Nissans or Infiniti, but for maybe 3-4. We've never had a bad one that I can recall.
