Of course, he charges us a bit more to put up his Secret Service detail in his resorts, than he charges regular guests. We don't know how much that is THIS term, because he fired all the Inspectors General who had oversight of such things.
But during his first term, we paid Trump $1,815.00 A NIGHT to put up Secret Service agents in his Washington DC hotel.
Gee. Just about the cost of the HUUUUUUUGE tax refund Trump says he is going to give us.
It's funny how the same amount is "huge" to him if WE get it, but just a tiny little nothing expense if we have to pay it to HIM.

But then, he is SPECIAL. So everything around him must be SPECIAL, too. Even people. It is one thing for him to rally for ordinary folks. He is the STAR, and they are the worshipful audience, and that is the image he wants.
However, the only people who can SHARE his spotlight must be special too. Only the very top layer of stars on the world stage, who by association make HIM look good.
So he will NOT tolerate anyone who is associated with "weakness". Like that reporter he mocked during his first campaign. Nope.
That's why this term he refused to have disabled veterans on his stage. It was a "bad look," he said.
And this week Karoline Leavitt said there would be no more legally mandated sign language interpreters sharing the spotlight with Trump. She read a statement by the attorneys in Trump's Justice Department, which said that being required to provide sign language interpretation for news conferences “would severely intrude on the President’s prerogative to control the image he presents to the public,” also writing that the president has “the prerogative to shape his Administration’s image and messaging as he sees fit.”
Trump is VERY careful of his image, as THE star above stars, winning every trophy as his God-given right.
So. . . . . . . . why does every word that comes out of his mouth lately portray him as the exact opposite - a weak, victimized, crybaby LOSER?

He'd better watch out.
Maybe his dwindling MAGA supporters will take pity on his daily merch and fundraising emails, whining, "DO YOU LOVE ME?"
Maybe the reporters will just roll their eyes as he snaps pathetically at them like a cornered rat.
But there is no denying that Trump's image is going down the toilet. And that is not from "the libs" viciously attacking him like nobody has ever seen before in the history of the world.
Nope. This is all on HIM. He has trashed his OWN image. And that is all the excuse JD and his good friends at Proj2025 need to pull the plug on him.
WE liberal "traitors" are not his greatest enemy. Neither is the "enemy within" - his OWN nearest and dearest - who praise him in the Cabinet room and flock to his million dollar dinners.
Nope. His greatest enemy is HIMSELF. And he has finally won himself the booby prize.

As for us? Keep your eye on the midterms, friends. Get involved NOW. Once we take back Congress and make it a separate and equal branch of the government again, we can overrule JD and his gang.
And our Congress can restore the strength and independence of the third co-equal branch of government, the Judicial, by approving judges and Justices who follow the law and the Constitution, not a dictator.
Together they can stop this traitorous coup, restore oversight, and make and pass laws to prevent the Presidency from ever being hijacked again!
THAT is what is in it for us. THIS is how we restore sanity, regain control, get our rights back, and rebuild a nation that serves its people and gives EVERYONE a shot at the American Dream. |
