Debt Jubilees & Why Debt Relief Can but Doesn’t Have to Lead to Ruin leanneowen.substack.com I find much to read about the benefits of debt jubilees, but little on the negative consequences upon a major economy, which doesn't mean there are none. [National debt in not part of debt jubilees. That's called default.] How would a jubilee come about in the US? By act of congress? Would banks support that? No matter. It's not likely to happen near- to mid-term. Perhaps in the next decade. In the meantime, I think we will see and hear more talk on this subject. VP
