Nope

Not with today's modern BEV's on the road.

Adding a range extender on a car adds over a couple hundred pounds to a vehicle.

Not to mention a hybrid is a very, very complicated vehicle drivetrain.

Compared to the much smaller battery packs in today's BEV's that have even greater range than they did just a few years ago.

After all, BEV's are vastly more efficient than any ICE.

Consuming much less total energy than that dirty, polluting ICE.
