Car Manufacturers Are Screwing Us

When these expensive new cars, with all of their electronic crap loaded on, go out of warranty, repairs will cost a fortune. Add a few more years on to that and replacement electronic parts will become obsolete at best or unobtainium in many cases. Your once shiny new $50,000 computer on wheels has become a worthless boat anchor as it's hauled off to the scrap yard.

The last new car I bought was a 2006 model for my ex-wife. There are some really good deals to be found in the classic car market and that will be my source for future vehicle purchases.

And while I'm thinking about it, that so called "Cash for Clunkers" program destroy countless good running used cars. IMO, that was a criminal waste foisted on us by asshole politicians..
