There was some good news re the damage from the latest atmospheric rivers. Highway 3, which runs across the province north of the US border, was expected to be closed for weeks due to over 20 major washouts, but today they announced that they think it will be opened as early as Boxing Day as they have figured out how to create detours around the most damaged sections. LC
