I'm not sure if I understand your question. If you mean to record from the computer to a VCR, a 25 minute segment would take 25 minutes, no?

If you mean how long it takes to go from a VCR to digitize to the computer, 25 minutes. If you mean transferring the already digitized footage from the hard drive to a Jaz backup, it would depend on the file size (due to whatever compression scheme you chose inside your video software, in this case, Buz).

Editing frames, or slipping them should be no problem in the software. Bear in mind that I have not seen the Buz software. I am just supposing it is pretty much standard consumer editing software. If you mean actually changing frame images through morphing, color correction, or other special effects, this could take some time, both in an artistic sense, as well as render time (this would depend on how fast your CPU is).
