Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays Everyone,

Thanks to Ted Warren's methods, back in January I was able to correctly call the boom in gold miners and I also correctly called the "tariff tantrum" market drawdown in the spring was a shakeout that we would quickly recover from (similar to 2018 and 2020). The reason I was able to do this was because there were many stocks that were breaking out of long-term bases (particularly in financials which is among the most cyclical sectors). In his book, Ted tells us a major market top can't happen unless pretty much everything has been marked up and trading at a high level. There are many financial stocks all around the world trading at low levels (even now) and are emerging out of long-term bases. If the smart money thought a major recession or depression was coming, these financial stocks would be getting distributed at a high level - instead the exact opposite has happened - they were accumulated for years at low levels and in many cases are just entering and/or are in early markup phase. I have my own book on Amazon titled Don't Trade, Investolate that contains many modern examples of the types of long-term bases Ted would look for if anyone wants to check it out.
