I recently sold my WRLG warrants for the double. I was concerned about the past history of the property, the inevitable problems with starting up a new mine, and above all the presence of Frank Giustra pulling the strings from behind the scenes. He is always more oriented toward the interests of himself and his cronies than those of retail investors. I hope it all works out, but I see other places for the funds that have a better risk-reward profile.

I am 'playing' NFG via the second comer to that area of Newfoundland, RSG, who were able to put together a very prospective land package along the Appleton fault that borders NFG's Queensway on the south. Until recently you could get all the RSG shares you wanted for under 10 cents, and I did buy a bunch, but even though drilling doesn't start for a few months the share price has taken off, today hitting 30 cents before settling back.

Do you still have RIO shares? It is now my largest holding, so I was pleased to see the share price exceed $3 for the firs time. I now have an informal target of $5. And yes, their Fenix mine is also starting production, with the first gold pour weeks away, but Fenix is a much more straightforward operation than Madsen, and RIO's team has a great track record.
