I was on topic. You wandered off into the weeds after my hysteresis post. Not sure where you went, but I didn't want to follow.

My point about the hysteresis was that based on the geological record, a CO2 content like we have now means a higher temperature than we are experiencing now. We aren't there yet because the rate of change is a lot faster now than then and that means we are nowhere near equilibrium while the last time it was at this level, it had already reached it.

Sorry if you don't have the background to understand what that means. But that is your problem and not mine.
